This is my second time at Marino Physio. I was here before for my right knee and now for my left knee. I am doing Prehab as well as Rehab after the surgery. I would not consider any other place. Everyone is great, friendly and highly competent. I am working with Kayla and working with her is a pleasure.

Marino Physiotherapy is the absolute best! My daughter is a gymnast and sees Ashley regularly, she has helped her with her sport and injuries so much over the last year. They are also all so friendly and welcoming and I would recommend seeing anyone in the practice!

When you first enter the clinic and are greeted and checked in by Courtney your entire experience is very professional and personal. Alaina has a very caring, supportive, and knowledgeable team. I personally work with Elizabeth and occasionally Alaina. Elizabeth, from my experience is very creative and thoughtful with my treatment. She is very patient with me and helps me feel confident. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful also. I look forward to my appointment every week.😊❤️🥰

Would give a lot more than 5 stars if I could. Though I no longer live in Knoxville and have since moved back to Atlanta, I have never been to another physical therapist like Dr. Marino. Coming from someone who is a healthcare provider herself, this place is truly somewhere special. The staff are all so kind and helpful, but the medical care is the best I've ever had. Dr. Marino and Elizabeth helped me truly understand the root causes of my hip pain and its relationship with the pelvic floor. Now when I strength train, I can feel which muscles are activating, and I understand which exercises are helpful and which exercises are harmful. I feel stronger now than I have ever been and am able to do all the things I love without any pain!! Before Dr. Marino, there was no physical therapist who could help my hip pain. Now after Dr. Marino, I feel great and have a good maintenance plan. She still recommended I go back and do pelvic floor PT when its time to conceive, even if I don't have any hip pain. I'm so grateful she told me that because I would have totally missed it. Now I'm seeing a pelvic floor expert in Atlanta who has been amazed reading Dr. Marino's clinical notes. I cannot say enough great things about this place. If you are ready to learn how your body works, get stronger, and have lasting pain relief, Marino Physiotherapy has got you covered. PS even if you are only in Knoxville for a short time, I still highly recommend (based on Dr. Marino's discretion). The progress you will make with her is phenomenal. Even if you do move cities, you will have a great starting point and know exactly what you need.

Marino Physiotherapy has been a positive experience so far. They have been extremely attentive. From the office staff to the therapists, the attitude is one of respect and warmth. They are great listeners and give me exercises that are geared to my level and actually attainable. The therapist’s seem to be very knowledgeable and answer all questions to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them.

I found Marino Physiotherapy when I took a friend to her appointment And heard the wonderful receptionist, Courtney, tell someone on the phone that no referral was needed. I already knew from my friend How great the staff and treatment was and made an appointment before we left that day. My only regret is that I didn't do that years ago as I am dealing with old injuries that other doctors said could only be treated with meds. Best thing I could have done for myself. We are working on all my weak and painful spots which will keep me independent and safe longer.

Amazing!! From the moment you walk in the door, Courtney greets you every time with warmth and compassion. My daughter has been a patient for several months now, and the improvements I've seen are absolutely jaw dropping. And that's not a mother's bias speaking. I've been a registered nurse for 18 years and see various physiotherapy patients from a wide variety of caregivers regularly. Hands down, Marino is the best! Exceptional, patient oriented staff, have given my daughter a new lease on life. Her range of motion is getting markedly better with every session. The improvement in her pain level is stunning. I'm so thankful for this group coming into our lives. They've put a smile back on my little girl's face again!

After surgery complications, I spent a year with my providers not knowing what to do with me, except to send me to specialists and occupational therapy. Dr. Marino discussed my symptoms with me, then set me on a table and palpated a single spot under my sternum. Based on my intake information and literally less than ten minutes with me in person, she had a plan of care in mind for me. This practice has been a cornerstone to my current health situation for a few years now, and I have been profoundly impressed by Dr. Marino's knowledge and developed intuition- she collects tertiary degrees like it a hobby, and has enough experience to tell when a joints are out through touch. Likewise, she has a diverse roster of physical therapists. They are encouraged to develop their skillsets, too, and everyone is willing to utilize their skills as a team. For me, Elizabeth has been an excellent match as a provider- knowledgeable and empathetic as a given, and able to eeke out when I need to push or back off of specifics in my PT in order to actually achieve progress long-term. Their support staff is properly utilized, so everything winds up being a smooth and coordinated experience for the patient, despite the space feeling so comfortable and casual. And at the end of the day, should they not have the means or facilities to provide the care you need, Dr. Marino has consistently been able to provide excellent suggestions and information. You would, at the very least, leave more educated, confident, and with something to address with your other providers. (While unable to help my family member with a specific shoulder situation, she was able to refer them to someone who could, and made them feel more comfortable when they were feeling anxiety about the joint in question)

Marino Physiotherapy Therapy is by far the most professional and efficient therapy facility in Knoxville. And having chronic issues that have landed me in PT many times over the past 30 years I feel like I’m a good judge. From Courtney at the front to the many therapist they are warm and welcoming. I have gained much strength and knowledge due to Ashley’s expertise. She and Elizabeth work to make sure I reach my full potential. A great team!! Obviously I can’t say enough good things about this warm family/community oriented center. Just know your well being and recovery is their number 1 goal!!
